2018 (pro-bono work) A sustainable Dormitory for visiting lay people and monks at the Nhap Luu Buddhist Meditation Centre in Beaufort Victoria.
Tne building was designed so it could be easily extended when the sangha grew. It also utilised prevailing winds to passively cool the building in the scorching summer, and to resist the freezing winds by closing of the cross flow through the building.
Tim worked closely with the Plum Village community to help them detangle the bureacratic complexities, budget constraints, bushfire overlays and ultimatley design and build a dormitory the Sisters of Nhap luu could use and be proud of.
