This is a 1 to 1 prototype of a portion of the facade proposed for our piece in the Peter Corrigan Cities of Hope exhibition.
The panel is sculpted on 2 sides by the drill-bit, from bluefoam measures 2500×600, and tabs are designed. The interior surface of the panel is undulated as per the exterior.
Furniture would have to be “sympathetic” to the exterior condition of the relief of the wall, hence the name. The remnant of the tool is left behind, reminiscent chisel scalloping of the stone-masons of old. See a short video on youtube.
